Our daughter had her wedding at The Atrium a few weeks ago. We live in West Virginia and planned her wedding from afar. We loved all of our vendors including Salt Harbor. Our friends and family all said it was the prettiest and best wedding they have ever attended. From start to finish, we didn’t have to lift a finger! We just had to show up and enjoy our daughter and son-in-law’s special day! We highly recommend them! – Kelli

Jen and her team at Salt Harbor are phenomenal! We could not have asked for a nicer or more professional team to work with! We planned our Wilmington, NC wedding from NYC so in person visits could only happen once or twice, but the email and phone communication was excellent! The week of our wedding was seamless and even though rain threatened our day, everything turned out PERFECT. Sara is an EXCELLENT day of coordinator and ran our day perfectly, I never once worried if things were going as planned! We continue to wish we could live our wedding day again, as it was gorgeous, beautiful, and stress free for us, the bride and groom. All of our guests could not stop ( and they still are telling us!) how beautiful the flowers and ceremony and reception set up were. Our wedding was intimate, romantic and truly US. I have nothing but praise for Jennifer and the Salt Harbor team. We live in NYC, but we’re planning our wedding in Wilmington and it was all a bit overwhelming until we found Salt Harbor. From the first day we met with Jennifer to the time when our daughter and her husband drove off after the reception, every detail was perfection. We had a garden themed wedding so the flowers were one of the most important aspects of the wedding decorations for us. As soon as we walked into the reception, we could smell the flowers. Jennifer Rose is AMAZING. Seriously amazing. I came to her with what I thought was an odd, very “Tiffany” vision and she blew me away with her execution of her design. She literally listened to every random detail and put them all together in a way that just looked perfectly Southern, Elegant, Summery, Playful and Me.

It was perfect. From the biscuits and honey centerpieces to the lace and burlap, with accents of yellow and peachy orange flowers on farm style tables. It was incredible!

I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer Rose at Salt Harbor. She was truly a blessing to my day. -Tiffany

Salt Harbor and Harborside Designs provided some rental decor for our recent wedding. I fell in love with their design on their website and at the Courtyards & Cobblestones event in Wilmington. Their webpage is an excellent resource for design ideas if you are just needing a few items to rent, or if you need full design services. We only needed a few items and they were great to put together a quote for me on the several items we wanted to rent for our wedding reception. They delivered on time and promptly removed the items from the venue after our event. I got married in Wilmington, NC on September 15, 2012 and Salt Harbor Designs was our event planner and also provided us with a director for our rehearsal and wedding/ceremony. I can not say enough great things about them! They were my saving grace throughout this whole planning process, especially since I live in California and was planning my wedding from there. When I was in NC they were always very willing to work with my schedule to make appointments to come in and meet with them. Jennifer was in charge of all the decor of our wedding including paper products and flowers and she is so awesome at what she does. I could give her an idea I had and she would make it into something even more amazing than what I had told her. Everything I asked of her she did and she did it amazingly! She really gets to know your personal style and makes your wedding about what you like. She was great about giving me opinions when I asked for them and helping me make decisions I was having trouble making. When I walked into my reception and looked around it brought tears to my eyes at how beautiful and absolutely perfect everything was. It was truly the wedding of my dreams thanks to Jennifer and Anna from Salt Harbor and I can’t thank them enough!!! Sarah was our event director and she was just as awesome! She was very efficient and helpful. She made us an itinerary that was awesome! She was so easy to work with as well! By the end of everything I had the wedding I had always wanted and dreamed of and I felt like I had made friends as well! I am so thankful for having Salt Harbor Designs participate in our wedding. It was AMAZING from the beginning to end of the day.

Meeting Salt Harbor— I remember when I first started planning our wedding that I was feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to create an ‘as close to perfect as it gets’ day. This feeling was eased when 1st talking with Jen. Not only is she an artist(!), she is an efficient coordinator with a great team. I was confident my day would turn into a great scene after talking with her, and it did.

The coordination— We planned our wedding from abroad since we live in Hong Kong but were getting married in Wilmington, which was a super challenge given the time zone difference. I wasn’t able to easily pop into a vendor’s shop to discuss details or make a phone call easily even. I relied on Salt Harbor to follow-up on many of my emails to vendors or answer my lists and lists of questions. Salt Harbor was easily accessible by phone and email with quick responses, so this eased my time zone challenge. During my 2 trips home to Wilmington during wedding planning, I leaned on Salt Harbor to pull together ‘power sessions’ for me where all vendors would come to their office in 1 day and sit down with us to run through the details as quick as we could before I had to leave town again.

The day of coordination led by Sara L. was a necessity for us! Sara was on top of where everyone was supposed to be and when. We would have been lost without her and probably never even made it to cake cutting by the end of the night. She was an awesome addition to the day, and I trusted her, as well as the wedding party, because she was quick on her feet.

The look— The Salt Harbor team turned our wedding into a dream– with all the beautiful paper, flowers and elements of décor that expressed Will and I’s life together. I have been flooded with compliments from guests that our wedding was gorgeous. I have even received comments from those who typically never notice décor details that the scene was wonderful, especially on the jaw dropping tulip chandeliers. The details were a hit of the party and proved to be something to remember. The Salt Harbor team really added value by letting me bounce ideas off of them and actually topping all my ideas with wedding details that were even better than what I was imagining.

Salt Harbor Designs is an amazing company! I love design and planning so it was hard to hire a team to do what I love to do, but DIY’ing a wedding in general is tough and I was planning from NYC, so Salt Harbor was a necessary vendor for us!

The ladies at Salt Harbor have beautiful taste and great ideas and were so welcoming to my ideas as well. One of the best things about SHD was that with one vendor you get: paper goods, flowers, linens, candles, lanterns, signs, favors, design rentals, lighting, furniture rentals, etc… When putting together a wedding it can be overwhelming with the amount of people you need to be in contact with. With SHD you essentially get 10 companies in 1. Another benefit of that is everything within the space, design, colors, style all are cohesive because they have control of everything.

The final product of my wedding was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted and more. I didn’t want to leave the space it was so cozy and beautiful. People are still raving at how beautiful everything was.
Jen, Anna and the rest of the team are wonderful to work with and I hope to have more events in the future to have the pleasure to work with them again. – Courtney

As soon as I got engaged, I knew I had to have Salt Harbor as my wedding planner and florist. What I didn’t know was how much more than that Jennifer and her team would be come. Everyone is very friendly, genuine and professional. Jennifer was so reassuring from the very beginning that my dream wedding was possible with my budget and that our venue would work perfectly (we were a bit concerned about our guest list number and having both ceremony and reception there). Anna, their office coordinator (and more in my eyes!), was always on top of things and just a phone call or email away, and gave great advice as a recent bride herself. Jennifer is a true artist when it comes to flowers and decor. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I was instantly in love with the rustic, casual feel of our wedding, that some how at the same time felt elegant. She completely got us and what we had envisioned our day to be. She is truly an expert! Laura, our wedding director, was simply amazing! She was right there at every moment I needed her, handle any issues that arose (which in the moment, I had NO clue about, as it should be, and did not hinder any fun!) and really helped to make sure our night was just as we had imagined, and honestly even more! After deciding to get married on Bald Head Island, my husband and I took to Google for inspiration. We kept stumbling across the most stunning wedding photos that all had one thing in common: Salt Harbor Designs. We quickly got on the phone with Jennifer and set up a meeting for the next time we’d be in NC (we live in DC). We were sold from that very first conversation and it turned out to be the greatest wedding-related decision we made (aside from saying Yes of course!). Jennifer, Lindsey and Anna made the entire wedding-planning process a total breeze. From Jennifer’s gorgeous design concepts to Lindsey’s tireless coordinating and Anna’s uber-organization, Salt Harbor had us covered from Day One. Long-distance wedding-planning could have been a total nightmare, but thanks to Salt Harbor, we were able to enjoy the entire process. By the time the wedding day arrived, we continued to be wowed by the design, layout, coordination, flowers and every last detail. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding day 3+ months later – primarily how the entire evening’s look and feel seemed to match our personalities to a tee.
